Spring Interment 2026 Season

Once again, and after a long winter its time to begin Spring Interments. This year we do have a higher number of burials to complete and so we like to review policies and procedures so that we are all working together to have another successful season. 

Often, the week following Easter is when we begin with Spring Interments, we encourage you to consider contacting your cemeteries to discuss starting as early as possible. We often run into scheduling issues in the first 2 weeks of May, if we can get a head-start it alleviates some of the stress on our schedule. 

In addition to the policies listed below, please refer to our list of availability, noting that there are already some fully booked dates we can no longer take spring orders for. As always, at need services are the priority and fully booked dates are not applicable to at need booking, we will always accommodate current services.

Policies and Procedures:

The following are suggestions which will help things run smoothly:

  • Schedule your spring burials with us as soon as possible to avoid days that are already fully booked. A calendar will be posted online which will reflect days that are available for booking.
  • Avoid scheduling Saturday burials whenever possible. Saturday fees are applicable to spring interments.
  • Avoid scheduling spring burials between 11AM and 1PM as this is often the busiest time for funerals as well.

The following are long standing policies which we will strictly adhere to:

  • We require a minimum three day lead time on spring burials to be done from Monday to Friday, and fourteen days for spring burials to be done on a Saturday.
  • We limit the number of spring burials we will do on a weekday to eight, and the number of spring burials we will do on a Saturday to six. All will be booked on a first come, first serve basis.
  • No spring burials will be done on a Sunday, a Holiday or after 5PM on any day.
  • Spring discounts will only be applied to vaults pre-ordered by March 31.
